Ram focuses on delivering clean energy solutions and transforming the global energy landscape through WiSH Energy’s small wind and wind-solar hybrid offerings. His vision is to see every single inhabitant on the plant as a producer and consumer of renewable energy. He believes that anything worth doing is worth ‘overdoing’, and he brings that zeal and enthusiasm in driving the philosophy of sustainable development – to enable energy access to the largest population and to ensure that the planet remains undisturbed while doing so. His passion is to leave the world as a better place than what he inherited and he is determined to achieve this goal.
Ram has a decade of experience in the environment, energy and water sectors, working across a wide range of roles from regulatory/policy, to process engineering, operations, strategy advisory, business development, business strategy and product development and management. He has a strong record of solving environmental and energy challenges in process engineering systems, asset optimization and resource optimization. As a regulator, he was part of the team responsible for drafting the first set of drinking water guidelines for Singapore and was a member of the WHO International Network of Drinking Water Regulators. He is one of the contributors to the fourth edition of the WHO Guidelines on Drinking Water Quality.
