In 2014 Mrinal Pai co-founded Skylark Drones, a startup that is disrupting the way aerial data is delivered to enterprises. Since then, he, along with his business partner, have grown the company to serve over 100 enterprise clients.
Prior to setting up Skylark, Mrinal was the Chief Design Engineer of Project Vyoma, a student-led aerodesign team at the RV College of Engineering in Bangalore, India. Here he was involved in the design of six Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and headed the design team for SAE Aerodesign West in 2013.
Mrinal is the recipient of the NASA Systems Awards for his work in the UAV space. He is also the co-founder of Digital India for Collective Empowerment (DICE), a body focused on creative collaboration between regulators and the industry in India.
He holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the RV College of Engineering and has interests in technology, business and economics.
