Professor Mark Skilton is Global Head of Digital Strategy in Enzen's Applied Research and Collaboration Centre in the UK. He works with clients, industrial policymakers, leading research institutions and fellow innovators to apply cutting-edge thinking and develop practical new energy and sustainable business solutions.

Mark believes in fusing the physical, digital and biological domains of business and society to address the pressing concerns faced by our planet in terms of energy challenges and the need for more sustainable environments.

He is an internationally published author and recognised authority in digital strategy, Artificial Intelligence, cyber security, Virtual and Augmented Reality, the Internet of Things and digital ecosystems transformation. He is regularly cited by global media organisations including the Financial Times, New York Times, New Scientist Nature, Scientific American, Wall Street Journal, BBC, Sky, ITN and many others. He has more than 30 years of consulting and advisory experience, holding senior-level positions as a technology leader in major companies across the world.

Mark is also a Professor of Practice in Information Systems Management at Warwick Business School in the UK, plus an internationally-recognised technology advisor to the UK Government and European Parliament. He is an author of several international books that are required reading in degree courses, and has penned an Amazon best seller on the fourth industrial revolution and Artificial Intelligence.

Mark holds degrees and advanced courses from Warwick Business School, Cambridge University and Sheffield University.
