The UK's energy regulator Ofgem has appointed Enzen as one if its suppliers in a new framework agreement to drive the UK’s transition to net zero and ensure security of supply for consumers.

The organisation has awarded Enzen a place on a two-year arrangement in the areas of power engineering, distributed generation and energy efficiency.

The award will see us bid for a variety of advisory opportunities alongside other leading consultancies. In total, Enzen has been awarded a place in six lots, covering power transmission, distribution, metering, distributed energy resource assets, smart grids and emerging network technologies.

The framework is officially titled the Energy and Economic Services and Advice Framework. Being part of it demonstrates our growing reputation in the UK energy market for expertise in decarbonisation, decentralisation and delivering value for energy consumers. The framework runs until 2024, with the option to extend for up to two 12-month periods.

Sanjay Neogi, Head of UK and Europe for Enzen, said: “The framework award with the UK’s regulator is an excellent opportunity to share our expertise and insights to shape the future of the energy industry in the UK. We’re proud to have the opportunity to support Ofgem at an unprecedented time of change in our industry, and look forward to the bid process and demonstrating how we can deliver value and innovation in the UK’s drive to net zero."
