In its target geographies of Spain and the UK, the customer was seeking advisory partners to deliver quality renewable greenfield projects that meet regulatory, technical, economic, environmental and social criteria.
Our Solution
Enzen Spain was chosen as a partner for our unique mix of renewables experience, business acumen, financial solutions, regulatory expertise, technical prowess and origination capabilities. In collaboration with the customer, we are supporting the development of 1GW of solar PV power generation plus balancing and flexibility services to integrate 500Mw of renewables over a 3-4 year period.
Outcomes delivered
The solution will reduce carbon emissions by one million tonnes of CO2 per year, lessen dependency on the grid, require less network reinforcement and provide an IRR (Internal Rate of Return) of 8-9%. The outcome will be a more sustainable, secure and flexible power system model that can be replicated across the customers’ other geographies.
