Key facts

  • 400 Kwp solar installation
  • 250k kg reduction in carbon emissions
  • 35% savings in energy cost

Customer Challenge

As part of the Spanish government’s drive to net zero, one of its major ministries is seeking to become more energy self-sufficient through low-carbon technologies. To achieve its ambition, the customer required an end-to-end renewables solution for a series of hotels, residences and government offices in Madrid.

Our Solution

Following a public tender, Enzen was appointed for our unrivalled blend of technical, economic and regulatory knowledge in delivering best-in-class renewables solutions. We proposed the construction of a 400 Kwp solar installation, supported by robust designs and simulations, that would serve as a best practice model for similar government decarbonisation projects.

Outcomes delivered

The projected benefits for the customer will be a 250,000 kg reduction in carbon emissions per year and a 35% saving in energy cost. Both economically viable and environmentally sound, the solution will ensure cleaner power for the customer, more efficient use of public finances and support the ministry’s transition to net zero.
