Enzen is celebrating its third award win of 2020 after being honoured by The Energy Institute for our excellence in innovation.

We received a Highly Commended prize in the 'Innovative Technologies' category at the 21st annual Energy Institute (EI) Awards, which recognises stellar achievements and best practice in the global energy industry.

The award is for our Aerial Asset Inspection Solution, developed in collaboration with UK Power Networks to improve the safety, quality and efficiency of its inspection process for underground power distribution assets. Receiving a Highly Commended prize in such a competitive category – which also featured the likes of SSEN and Saudi Aramco – is a tribute to our growing reputation for driving positive transformation in the utilities sector.

This year's event, hosted online in a virtual ceremony featuring EI president Steve Holliday, was the institute's largest yet, with entries from a record 29 countries including India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, the USA and Canada. The award is the third time we've received an industry honour in 2020, after being named Business of the Year at The Signature Awards and Large Business of the Year at the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Awards.

The success is yet more evidence of how we're using our knowledge and innovation to develop safer, smarter and more sustainable utility networks, strengthening our international stature as a domain specialist and influential innovator in the energy industry.
