Enzen has bolstered its sustainable utilities efficiency offering through a digital infrastructure solution partnership with Microland.

SOLIHULL, UK 6th July: Enzen and Microland today announced a global strategic partnership to design, build and deploy next generation solutions for the energy and water sector, thereby supporting Enzen’s commitment to reduce carbon footprints, improve asset efficiencies and build efficient and cost-effective solutions for utilities.

To meet evolving customer expectations – and combat the challenge of ageing utility infrastructure as it struggles to keep pace with regulatory requirements – the partnership will offer its customers digital solutions deployed on a hybrid cloud infrastructure.

Designed for both existing and renewable sources of energy, these jointly-developed solutions will support the efficient, flexible and agile operating models expected by our customers, and will work across hybrid and multi-cloud environments including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud platforms. Such solutions also offer a low-risk way to deliver optimised and successful managed services at minimal cost.

"Enzen and Microland have come together to form a strategic alliance to deliver the perfect combination of experience and skills for the utilities sector. This partnership will deliver a more cost-effective, sustainable and efficient operating model for utilities. Together we will provide an unbeatable, world-class combination of technical capabilities and sector expertise, enabling us to deliver greater efficiencies and the highest possible value to all our customers."

Sanjay Neogi, Enzen’s Head of UK and Europe, and Manish Jamthe, CEO of Enzen UK

The partnership will leverage the unique strengths of both Enzen and Microland to drive digital transformation services for customers across the world. Enzen is a global knowledge practice with 15 years of deep domain expertise in energy, water, renewables and sustainability, providing consulting, digital and technology engineering services. This is perfectly complemented by Microland's three decades of experience in IT infrastructure management and proven expertise across cloud and data centre management, networks and security.

"We’re delighted to partner with Enzen to provide expertly tailored solutions for the energy and utilities sector. Microland has significant expertise in cloud and data centre modernisation and migrating mission critical workloads to the cloud. We believe the partnership with Enzen will help us further accelerate modernisation programmes of our clients. Microland will bring its proprietary toolsets, frameworks and solution accelerators, along with leading technology partnerships, to this relationship in order to deliver maximum value to customers."

Karthikeyan Krishnan, Microland Senior Vice President and Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa

The partnership has the perfect blend of sector knowledge and technical skills to provide the very best in cloud-based managed services and technology-agnostic, innovative solutions. Together the two companies offer technical and domain expertise that will enable rapid response, optimised costs and continuous process improvement.
