Tara Cooper is a passionate leader and certified HR practitioner, heading up Enzen Australia’s Operations and People & Culture functions.

Her work philosophy revolves around creating environments where people and businesses can thrive, believing that fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture is an essential ingredient to success.

She is well-known for her ability to develop strong relationships with employees and stakeholders across organisations. Driven and collaborative, Tara takes accountability to find solutions to organisational problems, facilitating alignment of people and business objectives, supporting Enzen to achieve its vision of making energy and water accessible, affordable and sustainable for all.

Her specialties include talent attraction, development and retention, organisational development, change management, employee relations, and workplace health and safety.

Tara has led the development and implementation of many initiatives to enhance employee wellbeing, reward and recognition, and career development, supporting the sustainable growth of Enzen and its people.

Her prior experience spans renewable energy, manufacturing, agriculture and retail, where she has led responsive HR strategies that enable business excellence throughout the growth cycle, from start up, expansion and acquisition to restructuring and divestment.

She holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from the University of South Australia and professional certification from the Australian Human Resources Institute. Outside of work, Tara is a caring mother and wife, and enjoys spending her weekends outdoors with her family.
